Valenzia CEV 14.11.2010

14.11.2010

The last but one race of Spanish Championship CEV, which was held on the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Cheste close to Valencia did not go for Míra well.

There were two free rides on Friday, when Míra got his first chance to get known the track. In the second free training Míra fell down, he went too hard on the front wheel. Fortunately this fall was without any further complications and Míra as well as the motorcycle was ready for Saturday and the qualification trainings. Considering the high amount of subscribed riders, there were two groups according to the alphabetical sorting by surname; each group was of 31 riders. In the first qualification Míra finished on the 12th position and in the second qualification 13th position, since he did not improve his time from the first qualification. The organizer assigned the positions to riders in the starting grid according the rule of achieved times it meant seventh row eg. 26th position for Míra. In the warm up on Sunday morning Míra got better and achieved better time for qualification. This was the result of more experience gained by more riding on the circuit. The start into the race on Sunday went fine and Míra was among the group around the 15th to 25th place. During one and half lap Míra moved by 5 positions forward, that was looking very good up to the moment when Míra pushed the gas to much in one curve and got High side. Míra´s head hit the ground so hard even his helmet was cracked on the back. Míra fell unluckily on his left leg and his ankle ligaments got tensed. The season finished not very positively but after necessary rehabilitation Míra will definitely start preparations for coming the next season.
